Ingredients
  • ~*Tassie Dough*~
  • 3 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, salted, softened
  • 1 cup flour
  • ~*Tassie Filling *~
  • 14 oz pkg caramels
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1- 1/2 tsp Kahlua (I use 2 - 3 Tbsp)
  • ~*Tassie Frosting*~
  • 1 cup Crisco
  • 2/3 cup sugar (I use 1 cup)
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk, chilled
  • 1 tsp Kahlua (I use 1 - 2 Tbsp)

Directions
  1. ~*Tassie Dough*~
  2. Beat cream cheese and butter together until well incorporated. Stir in flour. Form dough ball. Place in fridge for at least 1 hour or overnight. Roll dough in about 1/2" balls and press in tassie/mini muffin pan. Bake at 350 for about 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.
  3. ~*Tassie Filling*~
  4. In sauce pan, over medium heat, combine caramels and milk. Stir frequently until melted. When all caramels are melted and incorporated well - remove from heat and stir in Kahlua. Pour caramel in tassie shells. Let cool.
  5. ~*Tassie Frosting*~
  6. Cream Crisco and sugar until fluffy. Add milk and Kahlua. Beat until fluffy. This takes about a good 7 - 10 minutes with a stand mixer. Pipe frosting on top of caramel filling.
