Coffee Cake - Cake Recipe Possumqueen / All my dishes

It is a very dark and moist cake. This is a family recipe - my most favorite cake recipe ever!

Ingredients
  • 2 C Flour
  • 2 C Sugar
  • 2/3 C Cocoa
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 C Milk
  • 1 C Coffee
  • 1/2 C Oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 Eggs

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. In large bowl, sift flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and cocoa. Beat in eggs, milk, oil, vanilla and coffee. Bake for about 30-35 minutes.
  3. ***Be sure to watch the cake - if you bake to long the edges will get hard.
  4. ***Batter will be very thin.
