How to make it

  • Pour boiling water over rice, cover and let stand overnight, or cook per directions
  • Drain rice and place in casserole.
  • Add soups and seasonings
  • Mix gently
  • Slice and saute mushrooms in 2 T. butter
  • Mix into rice mix
  • Saute celery and onion in 1 T butter until limp
  • Mix into rice mix
  • Brown meat.
  • Add to rice and mix.
  • Sprinkle tip with slivered almonds.
  • Cover and refrigerate upt to 24 hours
  • Bake covered 1 1/2 hours in 350 degree oven
