This is my Grandmother's Recipe for Christmas Cutouts our whole family loves these and i actually sold a couple of dozen to some people one christmas because they didn't have time to do their baking.

Ingredients
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 1 c. Shortening
  • 2 eggs in a measuring cup then fill with milk
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 4 1/2 c. Flour + 1 tsp Soda
  • Mix with 1 tbsp hot water

Directions
  1. Mix Stiff and Chill over night preferably but i've been known to cheat before and just refrigerate a couple of hours the reason for this is it's easier to cut them out if they are chilled.
  2. Roll out and bake
  3. 350 8-10 minutes
