Ingredients
  • 3 pounds chuck steak 1 inch thick
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup veg oil
  • 1 cup minced onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 pound mushrooms sliced
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 16 ounce can tomatoes drained
  • 2 tablespoons steak chopped parsley

Directions
  1. Cut steak into 8 pieces.
  2. Season with 2 teaspoons of salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  3. Heat oil in a skillet
  4. Saute the onions and green peppers 10 min stirring frequently
  5. Add mushrooms cook 2 min
  6. Blend in flour and remaining salt and pepper
  7. Add tomatoes stirring until mixture boils
  8. Mix in the steak sauce
  9. Cut 8 14 inch square of heavy duty aluminum foil.
  10. Grease the centers and place a piece of steak on each
  11. Bring foil up around the steaks and spread the sauce over them
  12. close foil and double fold the edges to seal tightly
  13. place on grill 4 inch over heat and cook 1 hour turning the packages with tongs several times
  14. serve with the foil folded back garnished with parsley
