How to make it

  • stir together sour cream, light cream, vinegar, oil, pepper
  • slice matjes halves crosswise,
  • about 2 centimeters (so you get it on fork and into mouth without having to use knife to cut smaller :-) )
  • add to creammixture,
  • peel, core, quarter and slice apples (making small triangula pieces)
  • add to cream-mixture
  • peel onions, cut in halves, cut crosswise for thin slices
  • add to cream mixture
  • cut pickled cucumbers in halves, cut crosswise making thin slices
  • add to cream mixture.
  • stir all well,
  • refrigerate for one to two hours.
  • serve with boiled potatoes in their jackets - but you may peel the, before serving :-)
