matjes against hangover

- 8 matjes halves shopping list
- 2 apples shopping list
- 2 onions shopping list
- 4 large pickled cucumbers shopping list
- 4 cups sour cream shopping list
- 1 cup (approx. light cream) shopping list
- approx. 1 TBSP. white vinegar shopping list
- approx. 1 TBSP. mazola oil or similar shopping list
- freshly ground pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- stir together sour cream, light cream, vinegar, oil, pepper
- slice matjes halves crosswise,
- about 2 centimeters (so you get it on fork and into mouth without having to use knife to cut smaller :-) )
- add to creammixture,
- peel, core, quarter and slice apples (making small triangula pieces)
- add to cream-mixture
- peel onions, cut in halves, cut crosswise for thin slices
- add to cream mixture
- cut pickled cucumbers in halves, cut crosswise making thin slices
- add to cream mixture.
- stir all well,
- refrigerate for one to two hours.
- serve with boiled potatoes in their jackets - but you may peel the, before serving :-)
