CRUNCHY PEA SALAD

A different salad that we enjoy when it's hot out. I've added seafood or hard boiled eggs and used it as a main course. Should be chilled for 2 hours
Ingredients
- Dressing: shopping list
- 1/2 C sour cream shopping list
- 2 TBSP. white vinegar shopping list
- 1 TBSP. milk shopping list
- 2 TSP. sugar shopping list
- 3/4 TSP. salt shopping list
- 1/8 TSP. garlic powder shopping list
- 2 10 OZ PACKAGES frozen peas, THAWED shopping list
- 1 8-OZ CAN sliced water chestnuts shopping list
- 1/4 C SLICED green onion shopping list
- 3 SLICES COOKED bacon PIECES shopping list
How to make it
- To make dressing combine:
- SOUR CREAM, VINEGAR, MILK, SUGAR, SALT AND GARLIC POWDER.
- IN A LARGE BOWL, COMBINE PEAS, WATER CHESTNUTS, ONION, AND BACON PIECES. ADD DRESSING, TOSS LIGHTLY TO COAT. COVER AND CHILL.
