How to make it

  • Dissolve gelatin in boiling water until all crystals disappear.
  • Stir in peel and lime juice.
  • Add softened ice cream by spoonfuls stirring until melted.
  • Chill in bowl until mixture mounds slightly when spooned.
  • Pour into cooled pastry shell.
  • Chill until firm then top with whipped cream.
