White Sangria Recipe
In my search for the perfect Sangria, I'm stumbled upon this one, of course tweaking it to make it my own. It's unexpectedly potent, handle with care!

Ingredients
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • 1 tart apple, sliced and cored
  • 1 1/2 cups rum, chilled (white or dark)
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/2 cup Grand Marnier, chilled
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle white wine
  • 3-4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • club soda or fruit juice (white grape/raspberry works well but anything will work), chilled

Directions
  1. Put the fruit in a pitcher and cover with the rum, vodka, brandy, Grand Marnier and brown sugar; mix well.
  2. Cover pitcher and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. (Overnight is best.).
  3. Add the bottle of wine and fruit juice to taste.
  4. Stir well, pressing the fruit as you stir.
  5. Serve over ice (with extra juice, if you want)
