How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350°F, grease an 8" square pan.
  • Cream butter, black-eyed pea puree and sugars.
  • Add eggs and beat well. Beat in milk and vanilla.
  • Sift together the flour, cocoa powder and salt, stir into the creamed mixture.
  • Stir in the almonds.
  • Spread brownies in prepared pan.
  • Bake 25 minutes and cool completely before cutting
