    This is a yummy recipe, but it sounds more like Thousand Island than Russian. I guess the Russian recipe I am looking for has no mayo or pickles in it. Kraft used to make it (Seven Seas). It was dark red, sweet and tangy. No pickles, no mayo or Miracle Whip. I have scoured the Internet trying to find a similar recipe and I keep finding either this one, that is more like Thousand Island (which I love too) or another one with celery seeds in it. Neither one come close to the Kraft Russian Dressing that has been discontinued. I actually called Kraft headquarters and they told me it was discontinued. If anyone has the recipe for that type of Russian dressing I would love to hear it. Thanks so much :)
