A very simple meal of a Sandwich dipped in egg and baked. Serve with fried potatoes with onions.

Ingredients
  • 3 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 12 slices of bread
  • 6 slices swiss cheese cut in half
  • 6 boiled or baked ham slices
  • margarine
  • powdered sugar
  • jelly of your choice

Directions
  1. Combine eggs and milk. For each Sandwich, cover slice of bread with slice of cheese, ham and second slice of cheese. Top with second slice of bread.
  2. Dip both sides of each sandwich in egg mixture, brown on both sides in margarine.
  3. Place on ungreased baking sheet, bake at 425 for 15 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with jelly.
