Late 1960s Chicken Casserole Recipe
Old recipe, but so good, from the late '60's. Updated with Healthy Request soups. Quick and easy. Comfort chicken casserole. Serve with an extra bowl of fluffly rice if you prefer.

Ingredients
  • 1 can Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup (Healthy Request)
  • 1 can Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup (Healthy Request
  • 1 can Campbell's Cream of Celery Soup (Healthy Request)
  • 1 cup rice (uncooked)
  • 6 chicken breast *halves*
  • Unsalted butter for dotting chicken and top
  • *May add 1 small can chopped green chilies

Directions
  1. In bowl, mix rice with soups until blended
  2. Butter bottom of baking dish
  3. Place chicken breasts on bottom of dish
  4. Dot with butter
  5. Sprinkle with black pepper
  6. Top with rice soup mixture
  7. Sprinkle with black pepper
  8. Dot with a little more butter all over
  9. Sprinkle with a little cayenne (optional, but delicious!)
  10. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
