This is the Neely family barbecue sauce which I think is the best I have ever tasted. It can be used in a variety of ways with pork or beef. My favorite is over a bag of meatballs in a crockpot. Enjoy

Ingredients
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1/2 tablespoons dry mustard powder
  • 2 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoonslight corn syrup

Directions
  1. Combine all of the sauce ingredients in a stockpot or large Dutch oven.
  2. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring frequently to prevent sticking. Reduce temperature to low and simmer- uncovered, for at least 2 hours.
