    Thanks, TheNewMrsStreetman, for you comments (and your honesty). The header notes explain that the recipe came from a magazine clipping 'a gazillion years ago', and you are quite right that [back then] people used more liberties in cooking than authenticity.
    An authentic Thai recipe would have a completely different ingredient list....

    You know, I tried this and I think I was expecting a more Thai-authentic taste. I didn't particularly care for this recipe, but it is definitely a good one if you come with no expectations of Thai Peanut Sauceyness

    I absolutely love the dressing!!! I should have stir fried the chicken, but had boiled chicken ready, so shredded it. It would have been much better if the chicken was a bit carmelized. I will be making this again soon!
