How to make it

  • in a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, and the milk until smooth.
  • let stand at room temp for at least 1 hour
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Grease the bottom of a baking dish,
  • about 9" square and arrange the sausages over it in a single layer.
  • Bake for 10 minutes in a preheated oven
  • Remove the sausages from the oven, and pour batter over them until the sausages are 3/4 covered.
  • Return to the oven, and bake for 35 minutes, or until the center is risen and browned. Don't worry if the underside seems slightly soft, as this is normal.

    no decent sausage in Auzzie land????? have you seen my boreworse (farm sausage) recipes? they are a little spicy ( well what I call tasty)
    I cheat and get the local butcher to make them up for me, I just supply the spices and the recipe and they do the rest.....

    This recipe sounds yummy..Only problem is we cant get any decent sausage in Australia.I need to import some English sausage :-)

    I generally just buy in a gravy mix onion is convenient when I get lazy and or don't have the ing. to make from scratch.
