How to make it

  • Melt butter in a 5 Qt saucepan;add peppers,onions,garlic.Cook over medium heat,stirring occasionally,until softened (5-7 min.)
  • Add all remaining ingredients,except sour cream.Continue cooking until mixture comes to full boil.(10-12 min.)
  • Cover,reduce heat to low.Cook;stirring occasionally,until slightly thickened (45-50 minutes).Remove from heat.Stir in sour cream.Serve::if desired garnish with shredded monteray jack cheese and chopped fresh cilantro.
