How to make it

  • Cook pasta as directed on box, I like pasta al dente so, if the box says cook 9-12 minutes, I go with 9. Once done drain and shock with cold water and set aside.
  • In sauce pan pour olive oil and saute onion and garlic on a medium heat, once brown add 1/2 jar of Marinara stir add some cajun seasoning , oregano, and red pepper flakes continue to stir and add your stock and second 1/2 of sauce, add a little more olive oil and salt, lower heat and let simmer.
  • In a bowl combine shrimp, with olive oil and coat with cajun seasoning, pour into your sauce, once fully mixed, add pasta to sauce and stir to coat evenly.
  • Serve right away, with Parmesan over the top

    My husband wanted something diferent for Lent--not the same old fish every friday.I found this recipe, it was easy and My husband loved it!!!!!!!!!. So much we are eating it again today. YUMMY!
