Italian Garden Salad Mix

**Salad**
- 1-2 bags Italian Salad mix (or a mix of lettuce with romain lettuce, not iceberg) shopping list
- 4-5 slices red onion shopping list
- several large black olives (canned is fine, just rinse them before putting in salad) shopping list
- banana peppers shopping list
- croutons shopping list
- 1 small tomato, cut into 8ths shopping list
- parmesan cheese shopping list
**Salad Dressing**
- 1/3 cup olive oil shopping list
- 2 tablespoons beaten egg shopping list
- 1/3 cup white wine vinegar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice shopping list
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup shopping list
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese shopping list
- 2 tablespoons romano cheese shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley shopping list
- Add a little sugar to taste if too tart. shopping list
How to make it
- Chill big salad bowl in freezer for at least 30 minutes.
- Slice red onion and tomato for salad.
- Combine all of the dressing ingredients in blender and mix on low for about 30 seconds.
- Pull bowl out of freezer and mix in salad mix, red onion, black olives, banana peppers, tomatoes and croutons.
- Pour dressing over salad. Add freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top, and toss.
- NOTE: If you don't like this recipe for the dressing, you can also go to Olive Garden and buy theirs for about 5 dollars. I like to add about a teaspoon of sugar to it before pouring over salad and tossing.
