How to make it

  • In shallow dish or bowl, combine flour, 1/2 tsp salt and pepper. Coat bite sized pieces of chicken with flour.
  • Melt butter in large skillet (I like to use and electric skillet) brown your chicken on all sides--remove and drain, set aside.
  • In same skillet, combine tomatoes, water, brown sugar, vinegar and worcestershire sauce. Season with the salt, chili poweder, mustard powder, celery seed, garlic and hot pepper sauce. Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
  • Return chicken to skillet-cover and simmer for about 35-40 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
  • We love this chicken with spaghetti and french bread with salad on the side....
