Chunky Cheddar Fondue

- assorted raw vegetables shopping list
- firm French bread cubes shopping list
- tortilla chips shopping list
- 3 tbsp butter or margarine shopping list
- 1 med onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 small can (8 oz) stewed tomatoes shopping list
- 1 can ( 4oz) green chiles shopping list
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano shopping list
- 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare vegetables and bread; set aside.
- Melt butter in skillet. Add onion and cook until lightly browned. stir in tomatoes, chiles, and oregano. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered, for 5 minutes.
- Add cheese, a handful at a time, stirring until cheese is melted and mixture is well blended.
- Transfer to fondue pot and keep warm.
- Use assorted vegetables as dippers.
