Southern Fried Brains and Gravy

- 1 (11oz) can brains shopping list
- flour shopping list
- salt shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- FOR GRAVY: shopping list
- 2/3 cup gravy, drained from brains shopping list
- 1 tbsp fat from fired brains shopping list
- 2 tsp flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
- drain gravy from brains.
- Lightly flour brains-sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Melt fat in small skillet, fry brains.
- Reduce heat - cook for 5-10 minutes longer.
- GRAVY
- blend flour with fat and add brain gravy.
- Cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly.
- Add lemon juice.
