Wheat Meat Loaf

- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1 1/2 lbs.ground sirloin shopping list
- 1/2 cup soaked bulghur wheat shopping list
- 1 small onion chopped shopping list
- 1 medium raw carrot diced shopping list
- 2 stewed tomatoes diced shopping list
- salt & pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- Soak bulgur in cold water 20 minutes, drain
- Slightly beat egg & water in mixing bowl
- Add ground sirloin
- Add bulghur,chopped onion, diced carrot, tomatoes,salt/pepper.
- Bake in small loaf pan at 350 F for 60 minutes
- Drop temperature to 325 F and bake an additional 30 min.

Bread crumbs was the traditional filler to meat loaf and meat balls it gave these recipes body.
Bulghur wheat does the same thing only it adds a tremendous amount of nutrition at the same time.
