Great sweet pineapple sauce to serve over hotcakes, etc...

Ingredients
  • 3 tbs sugar
  • 1 tbs cornstarch
  • dash salt
  • 1 1/4 cups pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup drained crushed pineapple

Directions
  1. Mix together in 1 qt saucepan sugar, cornstarch and salt.
  2. Add pineapple juice gradually.
  3. Bring to boil over medium heat; cook, stirring for 5 mins.
  4. Remove from heat; add lemon juice and pineapple.
  5. Serve with pancakes, ice cream or cake.
