Pecan caramel sauce

- 4 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1 cup brown sugar, solidly packed shopping list
- 1 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 2 egg yolks shopping list
- pinch of salt shopping list
- 125 ml pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Seperate the eggs.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan.
- Add the sugar, cream, egg yolks and salt.
- Bring to a boil.
- Allow until thickened, about 1 minute.
- Remove fromheat.
- Stir in the pecans.
- Allow to cool to room teperature.
