This is a great replacement for hamburger. My husband can bearly taste the difference .

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
  • 3 TBS. vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 cups water

Directions
  1. Mix ground turkey with 1/2 of the packet of onion soup. Make into small meatballs. I use my cookie dough scoop. It makes the perfect size meatballs.
  2. Put the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook meatballs until no longer pink inside.
  3. Remove meatballs from pan and add the flour whisking until it is a light tan in color.
  4. Then add water and other half of onion soup mix. May also add garlic powder and pepper to taste if you like.Simmer until thick.
  5. If not salty enough add more salt to taste.
  6. Serve over rice or noodles. Great with a green salad.
