How to make it

  • Beat eggs
  • Add sugar and beat well
  • Scald milk and butter in boiler
  • Pour scalded milk and butter mixture into egg mixture, beating well as you pour it
  • Add vanilla
  • Bake in pie shell in 300 degrees for approximately 30 minutes
  • Pie is done when it will quiver in center only
