- 2 cups cooked, mashed turnips, cooled
- 1 cup whole grain or whole wheat bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp melted butter or margarine
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 eggs, separated

Ingredients

2 cups cooked, mashed turnips, cooled shopping list
1 cup whole grain or whole wheat bread crumbs shopping list
2 tbsp melted butter or margarine shopping list
1 tsp sugar shopping list
1/2 tsp salt shopping list
1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
1 eggs, separated shopping list

How to make it

Combine turnips, bread crumbs, margarine, sugar, salt, pepper, and beaten egg yolks.
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Fold egg whites into turnip mixture.
Spoon turnip mixture into buttered 1 quart caserole dish. Bake for 40 minutes at 350.
