How to make it

  • Combine turnips, bread crumbs, margarine, sugar, salt, pepper, and beaten egg yolks.
  • Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  • Fold egg whites into turnip mixture.
  • Spoon turnip mixture into buttered 1 quart caserole dish. Bake for 40 minutes at 350.
