- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 T ketchup shopping list
- 2 cups soft bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 2 lbs ground beef shopping list
- 4 oz deli pastrami, chopped shopping list
- 1 can (8 oz) sauerkraut, rinsed and drained shopping list
- 1 cup (4 oz) shredded swiss cheese shopping list
- 1/4 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1 T prepared mustard shopping list
How to make it
- In a large bowl, combine the first 4 ingredients. Crumble beef over the mixture and mix well; set aside. In a bowl, combine pastrami, sauerkraut, cheese, sour cream and mustard. Press a third of the beef mixture into a greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Top with half of the pastrami mixture. Repeat layers. Top with remaining beef mixture. Cover and bake at 350F for 1 hour or until meat is no longer pink and a meat thermometer reads 160F; drain. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
