1 1/4 cups flour mixed with 1/2 tsp. baking soda and 1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar

1/3 cup granulated sugar

1 cup (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chocolate chips

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions

Attach these instructions to the jar:

In large mixing bowl, cream together

2/3 cup softened butter or margarine

1 egg

1 tsp. water

1/2 tsp. vanilla
