German Chocolate Cake Icing
Ingredients
- Prepare German chocolate cake mix according to directions. Cool and frost with the following icing: shopping list
- 2 egg yolks shopping list
- 3/4 cup evaporated milk shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 tbsp. margarine shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups coconut shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Beat eggs
- Add milk, sugar and margarine
- Cook over medium heat for about 12 minutes, stirring constantly until mixture thickens
- Remove from heat and add coconut, nuts and vanilla
- Spread on cake
