How to make it
- Combine all dry ingredients. Cut in shortening until mixture
- resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add egg and milk 1 at a time. Mix until dough forms a ball.
- Turn dough onto lightly-floured board and knead 10 - 12
- Roll out to 3/4" thickness. Cut with a 2 -1/2" biscuit cutter.
- Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 475º F. 12 - 15 minutes.
