Mile-High Angel Biscuits

- 3 cups flour shopping list
- 4 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 3/4 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 egg, beaten shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar shopping list
- 1/2 cup shortening shopping list
- 1-1/8 cups milk (9 oz.) shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all dry ingredients. Cut in shortening until mixture
- resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add egg and milk 1 at a time. Mix until dough forms a ball.
- Turn dough onto lightly-floured board and knead 10 - 12
- times.
- Roll out to 3/4" thickness. Cut with a 2 -1/2" biscuit cutter.
- Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 475ยบ F. 12 - 15 minutes.
