Avocado Cream Filled Vegetables Recipe
This is another tried and true delight that I serve often at my monthly card parties. I also serve these at showers because they go a long way and everybody loves them.

Ingredients
  • 2 avocados seeded peeled and mashed
  • 8 ounce package cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 6 drops hot pepper sauce
  • 2 stalks celery cut into 3" pieces
  • 1/4 pound fresh mushrooms stems removed
  • 1 green bell pepper seeded and cut into thick strips
  • 1 red bell pepper seeded and cut into thick strips
  • Fresh parsley, dill and chives for garnish
  • Paprika, cayenne, parsley, sliced olives and small shrimp for garnish

Directions
  1. Blend avocados, cream cheese, butter, lemon juice and hot pepper sauce in blender until smooth.
  2. Spoon filling into celery pieces, mushroom caps and pepper strips.
  3. Top with fresh sprigs of parsley, dill or chopped chives.
  4. Sprinkle with paprika, cayenne pepper, parsley flakes or sliced olives or small shrimp.
