Ingredients
  • Batter:
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/8 cups milk
  • Filling:
  • 2 cartons cottage cheese, dry or drained
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup golden raisins

Directions
  1. MAKE THE BATTER:
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar
  3. Add the vanilla and eggs.
  4. Beat well.
  5. Sift together the flour, baking powder
  6. Add the dry ingredients and milk alternately to the sugar-butter mixture.
  7. Batter will be thin. set aside.
  8. MAKE THE FILLING:
  9. Mix together with a mixer all the remaining ingredients starting with the cottage cheese. Do not add raisins.
  10. Fold the raisins in by hand.
  11. Pour halthe BATTER into a greased or sprayed 9x13 pan. Spread evenly.
  12. Pour all the FILLING over the batter carefully and cover with the remaining Batter.
  13. Bake one hour at 350 degrees. May be frozen before baking. Thaw before baking.
