Crisco Bunny Cake

- 1 pkg. (18.25 oz.) yellow cake mix shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1/3 cup Crisco oil shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- Prepare cake according to package instructions, using 2 standard round cake pans shopping list
- buttery Cream Frosting: shopping list
- 1/2 cup Butter Flavor Crisco shortening or 1/2 Butter Flavor Crisco stick shopping list
- 7 cups confectioners sugar shopping list
- 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk, plus more if needed shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare cake according to package instructions, using 2 standard round cake pans
- In medium mixing bowl, beat butter flavor crisco shortening
- Add confectioners sugar, one cup at a time
- Add vanilla
- Slowly blend in milk to desired consistency, adding up to 2 tbsp. more if needed
- Beat on high speed for 5 minutes, or until smooth and creamy
- Assembly:
- Cut cake into 3 slices - the 2 ends/edges will be cut like a half moon which will be the ears and the middle will be the bowtie, when finished
- Arrange cakes on large serving plate
- Frost entire cake; sprinkle with coconut and decorate
