How to make it

  • Cut potatoes in half,scoop out taters and put in bowl
  • melt butter in large boiler,add flour,gradually stir in milk,continue to stir until smooth.thickened,and bubbly
  • stir in taters,salt,pepper,and three quarters of onions,bacon,and cheese.cook until heated,stir in sour cream
  • transfer to slow cooker, set temp on low, top with remaining onions,bacon and cheese.
  • take to potluck dinner, or to the family table
  • for a variation add several slices of velvetta cheese to make soup extra cheesy and creamy.
  • enjoy!
