How to make it

  • Cut rye bread in half lengthwise
  • Score bottom half into 8 sections to use as guidelines.
  • In each section fill with a different favorite spread or salad, such as tuna, egg, chicken, seafood, turkey, beef, ham or shrimp
  • Replace top half of rye bread
  • Cut bread into eight sections using salads as guidelines
  • Place on platter and serve
