How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350F
  • Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) round baking pans or 1 (13x9 inch) baking pan
  • Combine flour, baking soda and salt in medium bowl
  • Beat butter, sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy
  • Add eggs; beat for 1 minute
  • Beat in melted chocolate
  • Gradually beat in flour mixture alternately with milk
  • Pour into prepared baking pan(s)
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean
  • Cool in pan(s) for 20 minutes
  • Invert onto wire racks to cool completely
  • ***Frost with Creamy Chocolate Frosting (See Recipe)
