Indian spiced chicken wings

- 3/4 cup thick natural yoghurt shopping list
- 1 tblspn garam masala (bought or home made) shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed shopping list
- 1.5 tspns ground turmeric shopping list
- 4cm piece ginger, peeled, grated shopping list
- 2 tblspns lemon juice shopping list
- 1.5kg chicken wings, washed, dried and cut at the joint to make wingettes shopping list
- steamed rice and pappadums to serve shopping list
How to make it
- Combine yoghurt, garama masala, garlic, turmeric, ginger and lemon juice in a large bowl
- Add chicken wing/ettes
- Toss to coat
- Cover
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight if time permits (longer better)
- Preheat oven to 200 deg C
- Line an oven tray with baking paper
- Place a wire rack on paper
- Arrange chicken wings in a single layer on rack
- Roast for 30-45 mins or until golden and cooked through
- Serve with rice and pappadums
