Simple Stir Fried Veggies in Oyster Sauce

- assorted vegetables (i use cabbage, button and shitake mushrooms, baby corn, bean sprouts, water chestnuts) shopping list
- 1 1/2 tbsp peanut oil (if allergic to peanut oil, canola will do) shopping list
- 3 small onions, quartered shopping list
- 5 cloves garlic shopping list
- 5 tbsp oyster sauce shopping list
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil shopping list
- 1 tsp soy sauce shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
- a pinch of sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
How to make it
- In a wok, add in oil and heat for five minutes
- add in onions and garlic stir fry for a minute
- add the vegetables
- stir fry for another minute or two
- add in the sesame oil. stir.
- add in the soy sauce followed by the oyster sauce.
- stir fry while adding a pinch of sugar and pepper
- add in water
- cook to desired softness of vegetables or until liquid evaporates slightly
