This is my take on popcorn when I eat it for a snack in front of the tele.

Ingredients
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp ancho pepper (dried pablano)
  • 2 tsp brown sugar (optional)
  • 2 microwave bags of unflavored popcorn or 8 cups of air popped popcorn.

Directions
  1. Melt butter in glass measuring cup or other container you can pour from.
  2. Pour olive oil into melted butter mix and stir till of mixed consistency.
  3. Add dry ingredients and stir.
  4. Microwave for another 20 seconds and let cool while microwave is popping popcorn.
  5. Take popcorn and put in a ziplock freezer bag and pour ingredients in bag.
  6. Shake bag and coat popcorn.
  7. Enjoy, watch rubbing your eyes.
