Pennsylvania Dutch Fried Cornmeal Mush

- 1 cup cold water shopping list
- 1 cup corn meal shopping list
- 3 cups boiling water shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
How to make it
- Mix cold water and corn meal. Stir into boiling water and salt.
- Cook stirring, until it boils, cover and cook over boiling water in double boiler 30 minutes OR uncovered over very low heat.
- Pack into greased loaf pan. Cover with plastic wrap and chill over night or several hours until firm.
- Slice and brown in a skillet.

- serve with syrup.
