This caramel sauce is great over ice cream or bananas... this is an old family recipe.

Ingredients
  • 100g Butter
  • 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 cup castor sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup thickened cream
  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced

Directions
  1. Heat butter in pan
  2. Add sugars and water
  3. Stir over heat, without boiling, until sugar is dissolved
  4. Stir in cream, bring to boil
  5. Add bananas...
  6. Pour over Hot Pancakes or ice cream if desired
