Thanks Sara for this great recipe! I made it last night and it tastes just like OTB's recipe. Thanks again for bringing this delicious salsa to a big fan :0)

Pretty close, but no cigar. The original recipe has tomato ends and pieces from tomatos(non discript) used in other recipes. No red wine vinegar or fresh jalapenos but pickled jalapenos. The onions are regular jumbo onions and sugar is added instead of the super sweet onions. Crushed red pepper is used instead cayenne. The canned tomatoes are diced, not mexican style.

Do you know anything about their original queso?

This recipe will not yield OTB salsa. If you're looking for an okay salsa, go with this. Otherwise, keep looking. P.S. Ignore Chefferd's changes. I just tried it and it isn't close either.
