Sun Dried Tomato Hamburgers With Basil Mayo Recipe
This is our favorite way to make "special" hamburgers.

Ingredients
  • 1lb Hamburger (or your favorite kind of ground beef)
  • 1 jar sun dried tomatoes in oil, drained and chopped
  • 1 red onion, minced
  • 1 tsp beef boullion granules
  • pepper, to taste
  • If desired:
  • lettuce
  • tomato
  • avocado
  • cheese
  • Buns of course.
  • For the mayo:
  • 1 cup normal mayo (light if you're into that sort of thing)
  • 1 big handful basil chiffonade (thin strips)

Directions
  1. In a big bowl, combine the hamburger, chopped tomatoes, onion, beef boullion, and pepper. Form into burgers and cook on the grill to your desired done-ness. Usually, for us, about 4 min/side.
  2. While the burgers are grilling, mix together your mayo and basil strips and set aside.
  3. To serve, put the mayo on the buns, put the burger on the buns, and add any additional yummies.
