Pirates Gold Corn Chowder

- 4 tbsp butter shopping list
- 4 cups frozen sliced onions and bell peppers shopping list
- 2 tbsp flour shopping list
- 3 cups half-and-half shopping list
- 3 cups corn kernels shopping list
- 2 small cans of creamed corn shopping list
- cilantro, if desired shopping list
- salt and pepper, to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Thaw all frozen ingredients beforehand.
- Melt butter in a large wok, then sauté onions and peppers.
- Stir in flour and blend well.
- Add half-and-half and stir until blended.
- Add corn kernels and creamed corn, and heat through.
- Add salt, pepper, and cilantro as desired.
- Cook until chowder is hot, creamy, and slightly thickened.
