Ingredients
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cups frozen sliced onions and bell peppers
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 3 cups half-and-half
  • 3 cups corn kernels
  • 2 small cans of creamed corn
  • Cilantro, if desired
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions
  1. Thaw all frozen ingredients beforehand.
  2. Melt butter in a large wok, then sauté onions and peppers.
  3. Stir in flour and blend well.
  4. Add half-and-half and stir until blended.
  5. Add corn kernels and creamed corn, and heat through.
  6. Add salt, pepper, and cilantro as desired.
  7. Cook until chowder is hot, creamy, and slightly thickened.
