Overnight Maple French Toast Bake

- 12 slices bread, cubed shopping list
- 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed shopping list
- 8 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup maple syrup shopping list
- additional syrup shopping list
How to make it
- arrange half of the bread in greased 2 qt baking dish. top with cream cheese and remaining bread.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk and syrup; pour over bread.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.
- Cover and bake 350 for 30 minutes. Uncover, bake 20-25 minutes longer or until golden brown. Serve with additional syrup.

- I didn't have enough maple syrup so I substituted kayro (clear) syrup for the 1/2 cup and used what I had to pour over the french toast when it was done. Tasted great.
