Broccoli Cheese Soup Recipe

	Gmm1966 / All my dishes 1 year, 10 months ago I can't remember where this recipe came from. The original recipe called for 2 tbs of onion , but that just wasn't enough so I increased it.l My hubby & I LOVE onion Prep:10m Cook:20m Servings:6	Gmm1966

Ingredients

1 small onion finely chopped

2 TBS butter

3 TBS flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

2 cups milk

8 slices American cheese ripped into small pieces

2 chicken bouillon cubes

1 1/2 Cups water

1 (10 oz) pkg frozen chopped broccoli

Directions

In a large pan cook onion in butter until tender.

Stir in flour, salt & pepper until well blended.

Add milk & cook until thickened, stirring constantly.

Add cheese & stir until melted.

Remove from heat.

In a separate pan dissolve bouillon in water and bring to a boil.

Add broccoli & cook until done. DO NOT DRAIN!!

Add broccoli & broth to other mixture.

Stir til blended and heat until desired temp.
