Chick Peas and Sausage with Rice

- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 3 or 4 Chorizo or Italian sausages sliced in bite size chunks (I like a mix of Chorizo and Sweet Italian) shopping list
- 1 cup onion chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup green sweet pepper chopped shopping list
- 2 tbsp garlic chopped shopping list
- 1 envelope Goya Sazón with Culantro & Achiote shopping list
- 1 envelope chicken or beef bouillon shopping list
- 2 cups water shopping list
- 2 cups long grain rice shopping list
- 1 can 15.5 oz. Chick peas, drained well shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- In a saucepan, heat olive oil. Sauté sausage 2-3 minutes. 5 - 10 minutes if using Italian Sausages
- Add onion, sweet pepper, garlic, sazon and cook for 2 – 3 minutes
- Add the rest of the ingredients, season to taste, cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes
