Ingredients
  • 2 bottles of merlot (750 mL)
  • 1½ c. cognac
  • ½ can frozen juice concentrate (e.g. Pineapple-Orange-Strawberry)
  • 2 apples, chopped
  • 2 oranges, rind removed, chopped
  • 1 lemon, quartered
  • 2 T dark brown sugar
  • 2-3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 large bottle Orangina (750 mL)

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients except Orangina in a large pitcher. Stir well.
  2. Allow mixture to rest in refrigerator for several hours.
  3. When ready to serve, fill approximately two-thirds or three-quarters of glass with sangria mixture, then top glass off with Orangina.
  4. Be sure to garnish each glass with marinated fruit from mixture.

Nice....I'm lierally drinking a homemade orangina at the moment, the merlot is upstairs (already opened), the Giants are up for the moment (superbowl) what to do, what to do...at this very moment - I thinking I am going to make me some of your Sangria right now! Thanks for the idea....;-P)
